CUSCO GESHA is a remarkable coffee sourced in partnership with FLORésSENS System. Based in Peru, they train and work with small farmers in regenerative agricultural techniques. Inspired by Elaine Ingham's Soil Food Web approach to restoring soil heath through microbiology, their approach aims to maximize plant health and farmer income.
This incredible microlot of coffee was sourced from farmers in the Cusco region of Peru. Incredibly high altitudes combine with the coveted Gesha varietal, originally from Ethiopia, to create a brilliant cup profile, Bright and delicate acidities liven up a sweet and well-rounded cup. Perfect for pourovers with enough development for espresso that doesn't taste sour.

We ship to the lower 48 states of America and charge a flat rate of $4.00 per order. Our light roast coffee has a blue sticker, and the dark roast has an orange sticker. Biota’s 1x per month subscription includes two 12 oz. bags. Orders placed by Tuesday at midnight are roasted + packed on Wednesdays and shipped via USPS on Thursday mornings. All other orders are fulfilled on a rolling basis.
